Applying to Academe
Academe of the Oaks enrolls students who are interested in an active and dynamic learning environment. Students and their parents are encouraged to attend an information session and learn what makes Academe of the Oaks unique. We recommend you review our curriculum and then schedule an information session.
We are still accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.
Please contact the office for more information at 404 405 2173 or email email@example.com
Academe of the Oaks has partnered with Ravenna for scheduling admissions events and for the application process. Through Ravenna, parents will be able to request more information about Academe, schedule Information Sessions and apply to the school. Placement Exams and Parent Student Interviews are scheduled through Ravenna as well.
The admissions process usually starts with completing an inquiry form online. Academe of the Oaks invites all prospective parents and students to attend an information session to learn more about the curriculum and the program and to meet faculty, Academe students, and parents. Due to the current pandemic all information sessions are conducted on Zoom. Next, prospective students and parents submit a completed application through Ravenna. Finally, interviews are conducted with prospective students and parents, and each student takes our entrance/placement exam.
We are happy to schedule individual family meetings on campus with physical distancing in place after the family has attended an information session.
Admissions Non-Discrimination Policy
Academe of the Oaks admits students, without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, gender, national or ethnic origin, disability, or genetic information, to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the School. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, national origin, disability, or genetic information, in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, tuition assistance, athletic, and school-administered programs.
Common Statement From The Atlanta Area Association Of Independent Schools (AAAIS)
We believe that families have the right to make enrollment choices among schools to which they have been accepted without undue influence or communication from those schools. For that reason it is the policy of AAAIS schools and their representatives to refrain from initiating contact or allowing campus visits of accepted students or their parents between the first date of the common acceptance period and the last day of decision. Families are encouraged, therefore, to attend Open Houses, complete campus visits, and participate in activities at schools in which they have interest in advance of the early April common acceptance.
