Keif Schleifer

Fine and Practical Arts

Keif Schleifer holds an A.B. in Architecture from Wellesley College and an M.S. in Building Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, College of Architecture. Also a beekeeper, Ms. Schleifer is a member of the Master Beekeeping Program at both the University of Florida and the University of Georgia.


Ms. Schleifer works in arts leadership and implementation as a conceptual artist, collaborator, and advisor with artists, elected officials, and arts councils to create art in the public realm. In her work in community social practice, she integrates architectural processes, master-planning skills, public art interventions, asset-based development experience to work alongside community members organizing and building capacity for self-determination.


Ms. Schleifer is principal of KSDesign, a creative and collaborative practice providing technical, architectural, and public-use design solutions.


At Academe of the Oaks, Ms. Schleifer teaches the Architectural Drawing elective and the Bee Lab.
