Over the weekend the Academe Model United Nations Team attended the Kennesaw State University High School MUN Conference representing Argentina and Brazil. Students debated a multitude of topics ranging from Financing Sustainable Development to Vaccine Access in Developing Nations to Collaboration in Space Exploration. The students sponsored a wide range of resolutions in their respective committees, integrating their plans with that of students of ten other high schools. Mia, a Senior, won Best Delegate in the Economic and Social Council Committee, a top award. The students will continue sharpening their debate skills in the MUN elective through the rest of the semester.
