Join Academe of the Oaks for Spirit Night at Wheelhouse Pub
The Academe of the Oaks Firebirds are bringing our school community together for an evening of food, fellowship, and support for student athletics.
On Monday, September 28, Academe of the Oaks families, students, faculty, friends, and community members are invited to join us for Firebirds Spirit Night at Wheelhouse Pub in Decatur from 5:00–9:00 PM.
The event will take place following our Senior Night volleyball game, giving our community another opportunity to celebrate our student-athletes and show support for Academe athletics.
A portion of sales during Spirit Night will benefit Academe of the Oaks Athletic Programs, helping support the opportunities and experiences available to our student-athletes.
What Is Firebirds Spirit Night?
Firebirds Spirit Night is a community fundraiser designed to bring Academe of the Oaks supporters together while helping raise funds for our athletic programs.
Rather than simply asking families to donate, Spirit Night provides an opportunity to gather together, enjoy an evening out, and directly support our students.
Whether you are a current Academe family, an alumnus, a friend of the school, or simply someone who enjoys supporting student athletics, we hope you will join us.
Celebrate Senior Night and Our Student-Athletes
September 28 is an especially meaningful day for our Firebirds, as our volleyball program will be celebrating Senior Night.
Senior Night is an opportunity to recognize the dedication, growth, leadership, and memories created by our graduating student-athletes.
Following the volleyball celebration, we invite our community to continue the evening at Wheelhouse Pub for Spirit Night.
It is a chance to celebrate our seniors, support our current athletes, and come together as a school community.
Supporting Student Athletics at Academe of the Oaks
Athletics are an important part of the student experience at Academe of the Oaks. Participation in team sports can give students opportunities to develop teamwork, discipline, perseverance, communication, leadership, and a strong sense of community.
Fundraising events such as Spirit Night help support our athletic programs and the experiences our students have throughout the school year.
For families considering schools in the Atlanta area, opportunities to participate in athletics can be an important part of evaluating the overall student experience.
