Admissions Non-Discrimination Policy

Academe of the Oaks admits students, without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, gender, national or ethnic origin, disability, or genetic information, to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the School. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, national origin, disability, or genetic information, in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, tuition assistance, athletic, and school-administered programs.

Common Statement From The Atlanta Area Association Of Independent Schools (AAAIS)

We believe that families have the right to make enrollment choices among schools to which they have been accepted without undue influence or communication from those schools. For that reason it is the policy of AAAIS schools and their representatives to refrain from initiating contact or allowing campus visits of accepted students or their parents between the first date of the common acceptance period and the last day of decision. Families are encouraged, therefore, to attend Open Houses, complete campus visits, and participate in activities at schools in which they have interest in advance of the early April common acceptance.
