Recently, our Spanish teacher Señora Salas, had some help teaching her classes. In other words, she has trained the advanced senior and junior students to teach a few 9th and 10th grade classes. This is the same concept we employ with Honors A projects. The Honors A students teach the projects they have researched to their classmates. Student teaching not only passed information to their classmates, it is also trains speaking and leadership skills. So far, all of the Spanish classes taught by the students were well organized and structured, for very attentive learners. The 9th grade students learned Spanish vocabulary and grammar and the 10th grade students learned about environmental issues in Spanish.
