Academe Seniors take their architecture class to the streets. Their final exam turned downtown Dectur into a classroom. Each student photographed examples of Decatur’s stylistic evolution. From Federal to neo-Romanesque, neo-Classical to Gothic revival, the seniors enjoyed identifying the key elements. They even discovered an example of Beaux-arts on East Ponce (the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge across from the old courthouse).
